About Us
Whitewater Foundation was founded in 2013 to raise funds and give support to other charitable organisations. Whitewater Foundation is a registered charity and is a non-profit organisation having a principal fund managed by its own trustees. The trustees are a team of people working within and externally to the Whitewater Company. We meet regularly to discuss how we can help to improve the lives of others at home and internationally. All funds raised and profit contributions from Whitewater go directly to the designated charity and are used directly to purchase equipment.
In 2012 after celebrating eighty years in business the Whitewater Company decided to get involved in some charity work, and hopefully give something back to the broader community. We felt it would be an a good idea to establish a charity of our own, as this meant we could ensure that all funds went to directly to the projects. Our Executive Director, Mark Keating has had previous experience working with charities abroad and has always had this type of work close to his heart saying, “We are so lucky that we do not need for anything, unfortunately others are not so lucky”. To put our money where our mouth was, we decided to set up the Whitewater Foundation.

Looking Forward 2015
In 2015 we have more plans to generate funds through Whitewater Foundation which will be used to help other people in need.
In 2015 we will once again visit Belarus and carry out repairs on water softeners and repairs to the very old heating system; we will also be donating salt which is used to keep water softeners operational throughout the year.
We also wish to provide water treatment equipment for the new Wicklow Hospice once the planning permission has been granted.
