Total km 5870

Well today was a better day, not under as much pressure as I had made up a lot of km in the last 2 days, although I had heard that their is a storm coming to the channel, well if there is bring it on…

So today was more relaxed, and I enjoyed the day, target was 130 km however the wind was in my face which slows everything down some of the roads are up on top of exposed plateau, I was wondering why they were in these areas, and it suddenly dawned on me that Napoleon must have ordered them built like that because he needed to see where he was going, and of course he was a short Little fella..

Took some small quite roads and passed through some very quaint French villages, with really old houses must be going back hundreds of years.

I got another encouraging wave and thumbs up this time from a motor biker, don’t know why, but it all adds up to making me feel good and keep peddling,

I’m heading in the direction of Normandy, and the beaches, they are just before Cherbourg, hope the weather holds…
