Winner of IMSTA* – Community & Social Awareness Award 2013 – for the best fundraising, Mark Keating. For his Cycle for Kids 6000. Solo Charity Cycle 6,000km from Dublin to Belgrade and back to Dublin to raise €60,000. He presented The Mother & Child Hospital in Belgrade with a cheque for €8,000 to buy a new Skin Graft Mesher, as the one they had 20 years old. €26,000 raised to buy for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital a NoxBoxi Nitric Oxide Delivery System which is used for very sick children who are not responding to conventional ventilation and a further €26,000 will purchase equipment for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children a Bedside Brain Monitor which will be used to help assess the condition of very sick new born babies in the ICU; Whitewater are matching the funds raised. All funds raised are going directly to the hospitals.
